Frequently Asked Questions

What are the membership fees?

We ask for a £30 membership fee per person. The fee includes the club providing you with a club bowls polo shirt.

Do you offer beginner classes?

Yes, we have a "roll-up" most weekends where beginners can come along and enjoy the game alongside some more expereinced bowlers. Enjoy trying this wonderful sport in a relaxed atmosphere. 

How often do you play?

From May to end end of August there are games most week days (sometimes 2 in a day). There will be plenty of opportunties for new members to get involved in the league matches. 

Can I just turn up and play?

The club has roll-up session at the weekend. You can come and try and if you want to join, you pay your membership fee and become part of the club. You let us know when you can play and we add you to the available players. Simple!

What standard does the club play at?

We play in a number of leagues, which enables us to welcome players of all abilities. We are currently in the Whissonsett, Elmham, Dereham, Mid Norfolk, Age Concern and Cawston Leagues.
